Venice 3

This new-construction house + detached ADU is located in the architecturally eclectic beach community of Venice. The open living/dining/kitchen areas of the home wrap around a covered outdoor gathering space and form a spacious indoor-outdoor living environment with generous multi-pane sliding glass doors opening the home to the outdoors. Multiple outdoor environments are created for lounging, TV watching, dining and swimming. The upper-level houses bedrooms and offices, while the ADU, above the detached garage can be used as a rental unit or guest suite. The goal of this design was to create multiple living environments and spaces on a typical mid-block Venice lot.
